Boro clinched the last UEFA Cup spot
thanks to this draw at the City Of Manchester Stadium - but it was a
typical nail biter of a Boro game! Stewart
Downing was left on the bench - Jimmy Floyd
Hasselbaink scored a superb free-kick on 23 minutes, but Boro
lost the lead just after half time through Musampa. Manchester
City then went for the win by replacing Reyna with Weaver
- a goalkeeper - and playing David James up front! Boro looked to
have held on, but in the last minute the referee gave City a penalty. It
was Robbie Fowler against Schwarzer for
a place in Europe - and it was the big keeper who pulled off a superb
save to give Boro European football for the second season in a row.

Boro have revealed the fans' choice for next
season's away shirt. The winner is Shirt D. The shirt received over 32%
of the vote, with it's closest rival (the white Shirt G) getting 26.8%.
The shirt will be worn with royal blue and navy shorts and socks. MFC
have also confirmed that next season's home shirt - currently in
production at Errea's Italian factory - will retain the white chest band
seen on this season's top. Boro expect both new kits to be on sale at
