At each participating club, opposing teams made up of fans will be assembled when
national bidding commences on 16 January 2003 to play a 90-minute match during the month of April.
On match day itself, you'll be introduced to a celebrity manager/captain and
following the stadium tour and introduction to the refereeing officials, you and your team-mates will be kitted out in
personalised strips, receive a final team-talk from your manager then emerge onto the pitch. Following the official team
and press photographs, you will then begin the game on the hallowed turf. At some clubs a video memento of the actual
game may be available to purchase.
At the end of the game, the man-of-the match will be presented with the match ball
as a memento of the day.
Professional refereeing officials, appointed through the footballing authorities
in England and Scotland will preside over each match.
After the match, you can enjoy some post-match banter in the changing rooms and
later with your family and friends who have come to watch you play.
