CRYSTAL PALACE 1
Boro made a few changes from the team
that drew against West Brom on Sunday, but they were in for a shock from
an organised Palace team. Just after the half hour, Queudrue put through his own net
to give the Londoners a half time lead. But, Boro came out flying the
second half, and thanks to an awesome strike from Mark
Viduka, they were level. On 55 minutes, Boro took the lead
thanks to good play and finish from Nemeth
- who went off injured shortly after.
* Boro will play Blackburn Rovers at the
Riverside in the Quarter Finals of the Carling Cup. The game will be
played on either Tuesday 20th or Wednesday 21st December 2005
COMING NEXT...... Boro head off to the home of the
Champions for a return to Premiership action at the weekend. This will
be a big test for the Boro, looking to build on the victory in the
Carling Cup midweek.
